The Inquiry’s opening statement hearings and Tranche 1 (Phase 1) evidence hearings took place from Monday 2 November 2020 to Thursday 19 November 2020. The Tranche 1 (Phase 2) opening statement and evidence hearings took place from 21 April to 13 May 2021. Both these sets of hearings were virtual and conducted remotely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Tranche 1 (Phase 3) opening statement and evidence hearings took place from 9 May – 20 May 2022 and were conducted in person at the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel in London.
The Inquiry intends to start its Tranche 2 evidence hearings in the spring of 2024.
